Open interest (OI) is the total value of all open futures positions in a coin. When it rises, new money is entering the market; when it falls, positions are being closed. We collect OI from the perpetual futures of 11 venues: MEXC, Binance, Gate, KuCoin, Bybit, BingX, Bitget, OKX, HTX, HyperLiquid and Aster DEX. Values are converted to dollars and summed per coin. For each of the 500 coins in the table you get total OI, 24-hour volume, market cap, the volume-to-market-cap ratio and each exchange's share of total OI. There are three signals. Inflow: OI grew 5 % or more on three or more exchanges at once within 5 minutes. Migration: OI grew 10 % or more on one exchange and fell by as much on another, so positions are moving between exchanges. Overheating: OI is 60 % of market cap or more.
